Protect
Atopic skin is particularly sensitive to UVA and UVB rays. For this reason, if your skin is going to be exposed to sunlight, we recommend that you apply a sun protection product after your care product. Try Eucerin Sun Creme SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Creme SPF50+ for your face and try Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF30 or Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra Light SPF50 for your body.

FAQ (10)
- Can I use Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil on my face?
Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil is a body cleanser. If you are looking for a facial cleaner for skin prone to Atopic Dermatitis we recommend you use Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Cleansing Lotion.
- Will Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil make my skin feel greasy?
No. Atopic skin is extremely dry so it will help replenish your skin but will not leave it feeling oily or greasy.
- Is Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil suitable for babies?
Yes, it is suitable for newborns as of day one but use as a bath additive rather than applying directly to their skin.
- What do you mean by a ‘flare-up’ and `the period between flare-ups’?
Broadly speaking, Atopic Dermatitis has two different phases. A ‘flare-up’ is one of the names used to describe the acute, active phase when skin is at its most irritable. It can feel intensely itchy, you may experience a burning sensation and skin can look dry, red and flaky. Between these acute, flare-up phases are periods of time when your skin is relatively calm and less irritated. This period is also known as the non-acute, non-active or interval phase. The length of each phase varies greatly depending on the individual, but products specially formulated to treat and care for atopic skin − such as those in the Eucerin AtopiControl range − can help to extend the period between flare-ups and offer relief during acute flare-ups.
- Is Atopic Dermatitis the same as Eczema?
Dermatitis and Eczema are the same thing: collective terms for inflammatory changes in the skin. As such, they include many different dermatological diseases. Atopic Eczema and Atopic Dermatitis are also the same thing.
- Do you have Atopic Dermatitis and are looking for a daily cleanser for your body?
Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil is a gentle, soap-free cleanser specially formulated for atopic skin. It can be used daily, both during flare-ups and the periods between when skin is calmer.
- Does your baby or newborn suffers from Atopic Dermatitis: Eucerin AtopiControl Bath and Shower Oil will soothe and care for their atopic skin?
Mix into your baby’s bath water rather than applying it directly to his or her skin.
- Are you looking for a moisturising cream during a flare-up of Atopic Dermatitis?
Try Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream.
- Are you looking for a body cleanser for dry skin but you don’t have Atopic Dermatitis?
Try Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS Washfluid 5% Urea.
- Are you looking for a cleanser for atopic facial skin?
