Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

Both programs are open tolow-income families. These householdsmay be eligiblefor discounts on internet service, phone plans, laptops, computers, and tablets.
To qualify, you must already receive government benefits such as:
- Medicaid, which provides medical assistance
- TheWomen, Infants, and Children(WIC) programprovidesfood, education, and more as aspecial supplemental nutrition programfor women and children
- TheSupplemental NutritionAssistance Program (SNAP)benefitscan beused to purchase foodfor needy families

Cribs for Kids wants every child to have a safe place to sleep.Pregnant motherscanrequest a free cribthrough this organization. PRCsmay be able to helpyou get a crib as well.
You may be able to get a free car seat throughWICorMedicaid. Local police and fire stations sometimes offer no-cost car seats as well. Other options include churches, pregnancy resource centers, andlocal charities.
TheNational Diaper Bank Network gives free diapers and essentials toexpectantmothers who qualify. Many PRCs, churches, and food pantries offer diapers as well.
Amazon and Walmartoffer pregnant women, as well aspostpartum women, boxes full of baby supplies. These boxes include samples of bottles, diaper rash creams, blankets, and more.
ForAmazon’s Welcome Box, you have to create a full baby registry (13). You must add an item from each category to the list. Finally, you have to buy at least $10 worth of products from your registry.
Walmart’s Baby Registry Welcome Boxis a bit easier (14). You only need to create a baby registry at the store and request a box.
